West Virginia has added four-star power forward Maciej Bender to its 2016 recruiting class, according to Evan Daniels of Scout.com.

The 6-foot-10 forward was born in Poland but grew up in Gundy, Va. He currently attends Mountain Mission School, which also produced Jethro Tshisumpa, a fellow four-star recruit that is committed to Arizona State.

ESPN ranked Bender as the 28th best high school power forward for the class of 2016. He's known as a skilled big man and has drawn some comparisons to current Gonzaga forward Kyle Wiltjer.

Arizona State, Ole Miss, and Georgia were some of the other schools that showed interest in Bender before he gave his word to Bob Huggins' team.
