Four-star forward Maverick Rowan, a highly touted member of the 2016 recruiting class, has committed to NC State, he announced Sunday on Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 190-pound Rowan plans to reclassify to the 2015 class and join the Wolfpack for the upcoming season, according to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.

He has already graduated from high school.

Rowan elected to join the Wolfpack over offers from Louisville, North Carolina, St. John's, UCLA, and Wisconsin.

ESPN ranked Rowan as the country's No. 30 recruit in his class.

The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native is also ranked as the No. 5 prospect in his home state and the eighth-best forward overall.
