Isaiah Taylor isn't going anywhere just yet.

The Texas guard announced Saturday that he will forgo the NBA draft and return to Austin for his junior year.

"I will be coming back to work on my game and be a part of the new era of Texas Basketball," Taylor said in a statement. "When it all came down to it, I didn't want to leave my teammates and not be a part of something I feel can be special. Coach Smart says he needs me here to be the floor leader. I love our team, and I love The University of Texas."

Taylor is hands down the Longhorns' anchor, punching in a team-high 13.1 points and 4.6 assists per game last season. He was also the team's most efficient free-throw shooter, going 85-for-101 (84.2 percent) from the stripe.

"Really excited about the opportunity to coach Isaiah next season," head coach Shaka Smart said in a statement. "We've had the chance to work out on the court several times over the past few weeks, and his commitment to improvement has been terrific. We are looking forward to Isaiah being a tremendous leader for our team!"

With his return, Taylor will look to raise his draft stock, as he's unlikely to come back after his junior year. Draft Express currently has him going 51st overall in the 2016 NBA Mock Draft.
