With 14th-ranked Wichita State continuing to rack up wins, there's little room for error from No. 20 Northern Iowa if it hopes to keep pace in the Missouri Valley Conference.
On Sunday, Northern Iowa was able to overcome 16 turnovers and a 12-point second half deficit to defeat Illinois State 54-53. The comeback was completed by senior Nate Buss, who knocked down a triple with 5.2 seconds remaining.
