Report: Emelogu can play for SMU this season

Ben Emelogu will be able to play basketball this season after all.
The SMU sophomore, who transferred from Virginia Tech this summer, has reportedly been granted a waiver allowing him to play in 2014-15, according to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.
Emelogu will add a nice scoring and ball handling boost to an SMU team that went 27-10 last season.
The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Hokies last season.
