It's that time of year again.

No, not the college basketball season starting up - that's just a month away, though. It's time for the Class of 2016 to begin locking down their NCAA locales.

On Monday night, Virginia nabbed the fifth-best 2016 prospect to offer a commitment so far, securing point guard Kyle Guy. Guy visited the campus this past weekend and committed immediately.

"I'm just as shocked as anybody," Guy said. "I just fell in love with Virginia."

An Indiana native, Guy is ranked 39th in the class by ESPN and 50th by the 247 Sports composite. The 6-foot-2 guard is best known for his incredible range, having hit on 44.6 percent of threes on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit and 51.6 percent of them at the Adidas Super 64.
