Noah Dickerson reverses decision, will remain at Washington

After a tumultuous offseason, Washington got a small measure of relief after Noah Dickerson elected to remain in Seattle and not transfer, he announced Friday.

It was reported back in March that Dickerson was leaving the program to pursue a transfer, and had visited Virginia, according to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.

However, for new head coach Mike Hopkins, Dickerson's return is a sight for sore eyes, following the firing of head coach Lorenzo Romar and the ensuing decommitments of a handful of top prep players - including No. 1 overall recruit Michael Porter Jr.

Dickerson averaged 12.5 points and 8.2 rebounds last season, an improvement on his 7.5 points and 5.2 rebounds as a freshman.
