Columbus TV channel goes black before Luke Maye's winning shot

Justin Ford / USA TODAY Sports

The final seconds of Kentucky-North Carolina were must-see TV, unless you were watching the game on WBNS in Columbus, Ohio, in which case it was can't-see TV, literally.

No worries, though!

Viewers missed both the Malik Monk game-tying triple, and Luke Maye's game-winning shot on the other end of the court with 0.3 seconds left.

Instead, they got to stare at a black screen with a weather alert at the top warning of a possible tornado.

The rest of college basketball was busy erupting as one of the all-time great finishes in NCAA tournament history played out.
