AP Poll: Villanova retains top spot, Arizona leaps to No. 7

The top two spots in this week's AP Poll remain unchanged, as Villanova and Kansas both hold firm at No. 1 and No. 2.

WEEKLY WINNERS

This week's big winner is clearly Arizona, which added two more wins to push its current winning streak to 12 and saw its stock rise seven spots to No. 7.

Florida State and Virginia saw the second biggest increases of the week, moving up four spots each to No. 6 and No. 12, respectively.

WEEKLY LOSERS

This week's biggest drops in the poll belongs to the two teams that finished in a tie for No. 7 last week. Two consecutive losses caused West Virginia to plummet 11 spots to No. 18, while Creighton was close behind, falling nine spots to No. 16.

UCLA also saw a five-spot dip this week, but managed to hold onto the top 10 as No. 8. Florida also fell six spots after back-to-back losses, but remain on the poll by the skin of its teeth at No. 25.
