Since Chris Collins took over as head coach at Northwestern, the Wildcats have improved their record each year and proven more difficult to beat.

The Wildcats again showed how much they have improved, as they took down Ohio State 74-72 on the road Sunday, the first time they've won in Columbus since Feb. 24, 1977.

The win was the Wildcat's 16th and moved Northwestern into second in the conference with a 5-2 Big Ten record.

More importantly, it brought back some memories to a long suffering fan base from when the Wildcats last earned a victory in Columbus.

The people of Evanston, Ill. and students on Northwestern's campus, will be partying like it's 1977 Sunday night.
