Arizona-UCLA a showcase of NBA-level skill

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Arizona scored a massive road win at No. 3 UCLA on Saturday in a game that arguably featured the most talent of any contest this season.

Over 40 NBA scouts were on hand to watch the matchup, and top-level players such as Lonzo Ball, TJ Leaf, Lauri Markkanen, Kobi Simmons, and Allonzo Trier certainly didn't disappoint.

Here are some of the top plays from an incredible display at Pauley Pavilion.

Spin cycles

Senior Kadeem Allen may not have the NBA hype that the rest of the players do, but he showed off a vicious spin move to shed the UCLA defense during the second half.

NBA range

Ball has soared up NBA draft boards with his play so far this season, and while his passing ability gets a lot of the hype, his deep shooting has been almost as impressive. The freshman phenom showed his NBA range in the first half, stepping well beyond the arc for a deep triple.

Acrobatic buckets

Ball has faced questions about his athleticism throughout the season, but has done more than enough to answer them with his play. Saturday was no different, as evidenced by this acrobatic left-handed layup in traffic against Arizona.

Ball wasn't the only top prospect turning in some acrobatics, as the 7-foot Markkanen showed he's more than just a long-range bomber with this incredible finish in the second half.

End-to-end action

With time ticking down in the first half, Trier grabbed a loose rebound and easily covered the entire court in seven seconds, getting the layup to drop to give the Wildcats an 11-point halftime lead.

Slick passing

Simmons wasn't just a scorer on the night, he also showed off some slick passing to find Trier on the fast break for the easy finish.
