Duke's 5-star freshman Harry Giles undergoes knee surgery

The top freshman in the country, Duke power forward Harry Giles, underwent another knee surgery and is expected to miss anywhere from six-to-eight weeks, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.

Giles had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Monday, the same one he injured in the first game of his high school senior year.

“We’re very pleased with the outcome of today’s procedure,” said coach Mike Krzyzewski in a press release. “This is the right step for Harry at the moment as it will help him be 100 percent going forward. Harry has done a tremendous job in rehabilitation over the last year, and I’m sure he’ll continue to do the same after this procedure.”

Giles also tore his ACL, MCL, and meniscus while playing for Team USA at the 2013 FIBA Americas.
