Top 2017 recruit DeAndre Ayton to visit Kansas, Kentucky, Arizona

DeAndre Ayton, the top prospect in the 2017 class, has had a number of schools recruit him.

Now, the 7-footer plans to visit a few of them this summer, including Kansas, Kentucky, and Arizona.

"I'll be going to Arizona in June for a visit," Ayton told Jack LeGwin from SNY.tv. "That's a definite."

"I'll be taking most of my official visits next year, during my senior year," Ayton said. "I want to take visits to Kansas, Arizona, and probably Kentucky. I will have more coming, I just want to feel all of the schools out first."

The center said a big factor in where he lands will be the connection he establishes with the coach.

"They're all the top programs in the country, I know that. I just want to look at my relationships with the coaches."

Ayton, a potential No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, averaged 19.5 points and 11.5 rebounds at the recent Nike EYBL circuit.
