Duke guard Grayson Allen underwent surgery to repair a hernia and is expected to be sidelined for four weeks, the team announced Friday.
It's unknown when Allen sustained the injury, but it didn't stop him from enjoying a standout second year with Duke. The polarizing star guard averaged a team-high 21.6 points per game, and also contributed 3.5 assists per contest.
Allen recently announced his plans to return to the Blue Devils for his junior campaign, despite the interest he'd likely garner from NBA scouts if he entered the draft.
