The implosion of the Phoenix Suns continued on Wednesday night when the team hosted the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Suns players Markieff Morris and Archie Goodwin got into an argument on the sidelines during a timeout. Things eventually got physical between the two as tempers reached a boiling point, resulting in their teammates intervening and separating them.

The animosity began when Morris tried to explain something to Goodwin on the floor before heading to the huddle, according to the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro.

Morris was suspended two games earlier in the season for tossing a towel at then-head coach Jeff Hornacek, who was fired earlier in the month after beginning the season with a pitiful 14-35 record.

The Suns have received interest from other teams looking to acquire Morris' services, but all meltdowns like Wednesday's will do is hurt his trade value, and ultimately make it more difficult for the team to move him if that's the route they elect to take.
