Brook Lopez's 'very two-faced' cat is why Robin Lopez refuses to live with twin brother

Although Robin Lopez and Brook Lopez both play for New York teams, the twins know that living together would cause a real catfight.

Ahead of the New York Knicks' battle against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, Knicks center Robin revealed that Nets center Brook's cat Poupin has a mean streak only he sees.

"Brook's cat is very two-faced," Robin told The New York Post's Kirsten Fleming. "Everybody loves Brook's cat. To everybody's face, he's such a nice cat. And it may sound like I'm joking, but I am dead serious. He acts like a lazy, sweet cat when everybody is looking. But when their heads turn, he'll try to chase after (my cat) Edward. The second I lay eyes on him, he'll act like, 'I'm a cherub. I'm innocent.' I'm not buying it."

So, when the Knicks signed Robin in July, the 27-year-olds decided against living together, to keep the feline peace.

"We thought about it," explained Brook. "But the cats really wouldn't get along. They just wouldn't allow it."
