Victories have been hard to come by for the Houston Rockets as of late, with the team going 2-7 over its previous nine outings entering Sunday's road matchup with the New York Knicks.

With the team trailing by three points late in the fourth quarter, Rockets guard Marcus Thornton didn't allow the severity of the moment to throw him off-kilter, draining a pivotal 3-point bucket to tie the score at 101 with 32.2 seconds remaining in the game.

The clutch 3 by Marcus Thornton that sent this game into OT.

That basket held up in the closing moments, with the Rockets going on to defeat the New York Knicks in the extra period, 116-111. It was Houston's 10th straight overtime win - a franchise record.

Thornton finished with 18 points off the bench, while James Harden led Houston with 26 points and nine assists, just days after dropping 50 on the Philadelphia 76ers.
