VIDEO: Raptors' Joseph puts Wizards away with buzzer-beating 3

Tommy Gilligan / USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Raptors eked out a win against the Washington Wizards Saturday, and the late-game heroics came from an unlikely source.

With the Raps down by one point and three seconds left on the clock, DeMar DeRozan played the role of decoy, attracting the double-team along the baseline that instantly freed up Cory Joseph in the left corner.

The wide-open reserve guard nailed the buzzer-beating dagger from long range, ensuring that his team earned its fourth win in as many games.

The Raptors' record now sits at 11-6, while the Wizards fall to 6-8.
