Bucks head coach Jason Kidd suspended 1 game

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Milwaukee Bucks head coach will serve a one-game suspension for disrupting an official during the Bucks' loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.

The league released a statement on Kidd:

The incident in question, where Kidd aggressively slapped the ball out of referee Zach Zarba's hands, can be seen below.

Kidd's on-court histrionics apparently spilled over to the locker room, as reports indicate a shouting match took place between Bucks and Kings players after the game, before security intervened.

This is the second instance of a head coach being disciplined for actions against officials this season. Last week, Atlanta Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer was ejected and fined for bumping an official.

Kidd will serve his suspension Friday when his team takes on the Orlando Magic.
