Enes Kanter sustains mild ankle sprain
The Oklahoma City Thunder cruised to their third straight double-digit victory with a 100-88 romp over the Dallas Mavericks, but it came at a cost.
Enes Kanter left Tuesday's clash during the fourth quarter after contending for an offensive rebound and coming up lame. Sporting a limp postgame, Kanter confirmed he sustained a mild right ankle sprain, Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman reports.
Prior to exiting the game, Kanter poured in 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting with 11 rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench. His performance drew praise from forward Kevin Durant.

The Thunder matched a four-year, $70-million offer sheet from the Portland Trail Blazers this summer to keep Kanter in town. After four uninspired years with the Utah Jazz, Kanter was dealt last season to Oklahoma City where he found his stride working alongside Russell Westbrook.
In 26 games after the trade deadline, Kanter averaged 18.7 points and 11 rebounds in 31.1 minutes per game.
