VIDEO: Sixers' Wilbekin nails game-winning 3-pointer to bury Cavaliers

Undrafted Scottie Wilbekin played a little over two minutes Thursday evening for the Philadelphia 76ers in a preseason matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers, which is all he needed to make the biggest impact possible.

With the game clock winding down late in the fourth quarter as the 76ers trailed 114-112 on the scoreboard, the 22-year-old worked his way to the top of the 3-point line and nailed a dagger to put his team up by one with 1.3 seconds left.

Philadelphia trailed by as many as 19 points, but fought back with a 41-25 fourth quarter to walk away with the 115-114 victory.

LeBron James, J.R. Smith, and Timofey Mozgov didn't suit up for the Cavaliers, who were led by a 31-point outburst from Jared Cunningham off the bench. Jerami Grant had 19 points and three rebounds for Philadelphia.

The Sixers signed Wilbekin to a reported four-year contract that isn't fully guaranteed back in July. He averaged 14.4 points and 1.6 steals in 27.1 minutes per game during the 2015 Las Vegas Summer League.
