If 36-year-old free agent Hedo Turkoglu returns for the 2015-16 season, it's unlikely to be with the Sacramento Kings.

Despite earlier reports from Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski that Turkoglu returning to the Kings was a "possibility," chances are slim to none the two sides come to an agreement, Bill Herenda of CSNBayArea.com reports.

Turkoglu, who spent 2000-03 with Sacramento, played a minuscule role off the bench the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 3.5 points and 1.9 rebounds.

The 15-year veteran has been a relative afterthought the past few years with his once-highly praised, multi-faceted arsenal in decline. Turkoglu can still space the floor with his 3-point shot (shooting at least 43 percent in each of the last two seasons), so there's some value to be had there.

Sacramento has one free roster spot open with 14 guaranteed contracts on the books.
