VIDEO: Glenn Robinson III uses PhunkeeDuck to throw down jam

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

As it turns out, NBA players are just as bored as NBA fans in the dog days of August.

Glenn Robinson III is using his downtime to try his hand at dunking innovation. On Saturday, he employed the help of a PhunkeeDuck - a remote scooter made basketball-famous by J.R. Smith in the NBA Finals - to throw down what appears to be a double behind-the-back, quadruple through-the-legs, behind-the-back, double Statue of Liberty dunk.

More like PhunkeeDunk, amiright?

The 6-foot-7 Robinson doesn't need assistance to dunk of course, having thrown down four dunks in 261 minutes as a rookie last season. He agreed to a reported three-year, $3.2-million contract with the Indiana Pacers this summer that's said to be fully guaranteed for 2015-16, so hopefully PhunkeeDucks are relatively safe.

The Michigan product averaged 2.1 points and 1.1 rebounds over 35 games last season, spending most of his time on the benches of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers.
