The Los Angeles Clippers aren't done yet.

Despite making several additions that suddenly have the team looking far deeper than expected, the Clippers haven't given up hope of also re-signing power forward Glen Davis. There remains "optimism" that something will get done, Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The affable Davis is a Doc Rivers favorite, having landed in L.A. late in the 2013-14 season, a few years after he left Rivers' Boston Celtics. He averaged four points and 2.3 rebounds in 12.2 minutes for the Clippers in 2014-15, appearing in 74 regular season games and 14 more in the postseason.

While his role may be small, he'd likely be the team's fifth big man - and his salary for the veteran's minimum is all the Clippers can offer - his name has barely been a whisper in the rumor mill, and he may not have superior options.
