The Dallas Mavericks have inked 7-foot-2 Tunisian center Salah Mejri to a partially guaranteed three-year deal, ESPN's Tim MacMahon reports.

The Mavericks have had to get creative to fill their void in the middle, opened up by the departure of Tyson Chandler and the subsequent verbal-agreement breach of DeAndre Jordan.

The Mejri deal comes on the heels of the team having signed free-agent centers Zaza Pachulia and Samuel Dalembert.

Mejri has spent the past two seasons with Spanish League powerhouse Real Madrid, averaging 3.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and one block in 10 minutes per game.

Here's more on Mejri, from Matt Galatzan of DallasBasketball.com:

Though he averaged just 10 minutes per game last season, Mejri showed significant skill with the basketball, as well as above-average athleticism for someone his size.

Mejri is primarily known as a shot-blocker. However, as seen in the video below, he also has skill as a passer as well as the ability to put the ball on the floor, which is remarkable considering his height
