The Denver Nuggets officially announced the signing of center Nikola Jokic to a reported four-year, $5.5 million deal on Tuesday.

A 6-foot-11 Serbian, Jokic was drafted 41st overall in 2014 by Denver, and spent the last three seasons playing for KK Mega Vizura of the Adriatic League.

In 38 appearances last season, Jokic put together a solid line of 16.6 points, seven rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 29.5 minutes, en route to being named Adriatic League MVP.

The 20-year-old is coming off a five-game Las Vegas Summer League stint with the Nuggets, where he averaged eight points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting 45.9 percent from the field.

Jokic is a skilled big with credible range who knows how to create space around the basket with his 250-pound frame.

He's currently slotted in as the primary backup to Jusuf Nurkic at the five-spot.
