Amar'e Stoudemire started a trend by bathing in red wine, but Omri Casspi and DeMarcus Cousins took it one step further by bathing in mud.

The Sacramento Kings teammates are enjoying a trip with other NBA players in Israel and decided to stop by the Dead Sea, where they proceeded to take a mud bath, which is a common occurrence for tourists and locals alike.

As it turned out, Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Iman Shumpert joined them. Shumpert apparently forgot to bring his swimming trunks, but he took the dip anyway, making for a profoundly awkward picture.

The Dead Sea has a high concentration of minerals, which seeps into the mud, and those minerals are absorbed into the body through the skin. The practice is said to purify the skin, revitalized muscles, and ease sore joints, according to some travel guides.
