The Sacramento Kings have agreed on a two-year, $6-million deal with unrestricted free agent Omri Casspi, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Stein reported earlier Sunday that the two sides were close to reaching the deal before the late-night agreement.

Casspi, a fan favorite in Sacramento, returned to the team last summer after a three-season absence. The 27-year-old Israeli swingman played the first two years of his NBA career with the Kings.

He averaged 8.9 points per game this past season on 48.9 shooting from the floor and a 40.2 stroke from deep.

He scored a career-high 31 points on April 15 of this year. Casspi projects to remain an important bench contributor for the Kings.
