Report: Russell Westbrook's league-leading 15th technical foul rescinded

The NBA has reportedly chosen to erase a technical foul given to Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook in Sunday's win over the Phoenix Suns.

Westbrook's league-leading 15th technical has been rescinded, according to Royce Young of ESPN.com.

The call was made after Westbrook attended to teammate Kyle Singler under the basket and apparently said something to the officials.

Westbrook would have been one technical foul away from an automatic one-game suspension had the call been upheld.

Instead, he will remain tied with Suns forward Markieff Morris for the league lead with 14.
