It might be too little too late, but the Phoenix Suns will finally get their prized trade deadline acquisition back.

Brandon Knight will return from an eight-game absence for Sunday's critical tilt versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. He'll come off the bench for the matchup.

Phoenix enters the contest trailing the Thunder by three games for the eighth and final playoff spot in the loaded Western Conference.

A win would keep Phoenix's faint playoff hopes alive. Both the Suns and Thunder have nine games remaining, including Sunday's final showdown of the season between the two. Oklahoma City's won two of the three contests.

Knight's been out since suffering a severe ankle sprain in a March 13 contest versus the Golden State Warriors. He's been limited to 10 games since joining the Suns, averaging 14.4 points and 4.5 assists in 32.5 minutes per contest.
