Timberwolves' Pekovic limited due to sore ankle; will be re-evaluated Monday

Reuters

Minnesota Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic played just 92 seconds in the second half Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies due to pain in his ankle, according to Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune

The Timberwolves will evaluate him again on Monday.

Pekovic was playing in the second game of a back-to-back set and his ankle, which caused him to miss time earlier in the season, limited him to 12 minutes in the contest.

Gorgui Dieng and Adreian Payne both saw increased playing time in Pekovic's absence.
