PHOTO: Matt Bonner has an actual, exclusive Christmas Day shoe this year

Last Christmas, San Antonio Spurs big man Matt Bonner seemed a little disappointed he didn't have special kicks for the season. Instead, he was left to wear the plainest of sneakers for a national audience.

That's not the case this year, with the red-headed sharpshooter sporting a one-of-a-kind colorway of the adidas Crazy 8. Bonner helped create the shoe from scratch with shoe customizer Jake Danklefs, something that was documented in the lead-up to Christmas Day

Have a look at the finished product, which is equal parts loud and festive:

They appear to work well, as Bonner checked into the game in the first quarter and promptly knocked down an open triple on his first possession.

The 34-year-old Bonner has taken a long road to a shoe deal, landing with adidas in January after begging on Twitter.
