Rose practices, 'hopefully a go' vs. Raptors Monday

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

It was a partial practice for Derrick Rose on Sunday, but a practice nonetheless. The Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson reports that the under-the-weather point guard will hopefully be available to play Monday against the Toronto Raptors, in the words of Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau.

Afterwards, Rose told Johnson that barring a setback, he plans on playing.

Rose missed the last two games due to illness - which undoubtedly comes as some relief to Bulls fans, as it is probably the seasonal flu, and not another injury.

Rose put up one of his best games in a few years against Portland on Dec. 12, scoring 31 points on 24 shots and dishing out five dimes.
