VIDEO: Damian Lillard carries Trail Blazers over Spurs in 3-OT

Tim Duncan turned in a vintage performance, and the San Antonio Spurs looked well on their way to victory at various points against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.

Damian Lillard had other ideas.

First, Lillard sent the game to overtime by converting this layup with 1.4 seconds remaining in regulation.

Then, he forced double-overtime with this clutch 3-pointer:

Lillard finished with 43 points on 16-of-29 shooting, while LaMarcus Aldridge poured in 32 points, 16 rebounds, five steals and two blocks for the 21-6 Trail Blazers.

For the Spurs, who were without Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard due to hamstring and hand injuries, it was their second triple-overtime loss in as many games following their marathon loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. The defending champions still haven't won an overtime game this season, falling to 0-4 with Friday's loss.

Duncan finished with 32 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks, three assists and two steals. Danny Green added 27 points for San Antonio, who have now lost six of their last 10.
