Hawks' Teague will not play Wednesday vs. Cavaliers

Brett Davis / Reuters

The Atlanta Hawks will be shorthanded in a big way when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.

Starting point guard Jeff Teague sustained a hamstring injury Monday and will not play on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

Teague is averaging 16.8 points and seven assists in 31.3 minutes per contest, while appearing in every game to date for the Hawks. He will likely be replaced by backup Dennis Schroder in the starting lineup.
