Pacers' Hibbert out Wednesday vs. Spurs

Sam Sharpe / USA Today Sports

The injury bug continues to chew a gaping hole in the Indiana Pacers.

Center Roy Hibbert will miss his second straight game Wednesday night against the Spurs in San Antonio. Hibbert injured his left ankle in Saturday's loss to the Phoenix Suns, inadvertently landing on Eric Bledsoe's foot.

Hibbert is averaging 13.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game this season. The Pacers, already without Paul George, George Hill and C.J. Watson, did get some potential good news Tuesday, however. Power forward David West hopes to return to the lineup Friday against the Orlando Magic.
