First-year head coach Steve Kerr has the Golden State Warriors playing their best basketball ever.

Golden State extended its winning streak to five games Sunday and improved to 10-2 for the first time in its 69-year history with a 91-86 victory over the injury-riddled Oklahoma City Thunder. It marked the first time the Warriors have won in Oklahoma City since 2008.

The victory was the latest road win for the Warriors, who improved to 5-1 away from Oracle Arena - the team's best start on the road since the 1991-92 season when it began the year 6-1. Golden State has won 23 of its last 32 on the road dating to last season.

Marreese Speights led the Warriors with a season-high 28 points off the bench. Klay Thompson scored 20 points, connecting on 4-of-11 shots from long range, while Stephen Curry added 15 points and six assists.

The red-hot Warriors have the second-best record in the Western Conference, trailing only the 12-2 Memphis Grizzlies.

Reggie Jackson led the Thunder with 22 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, and continues to put up big numbers with stars Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant sidelined.

The Warriors played the second half without Andrew Bogut (orbital contusion) and Leandro Barbosa (sprained right knee).
