Lakers' Boozer out Sunday with shoulder injury
Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports
The Los Angeles Lakers will be without power forward Carlos Boozer for Sunday night's game against the Denver Nuggets.
Boozer, whose status was downgraded from questionable earlier in the day, has recently been bothered by a sore left shoulder. This is the first game, however, that he has been forced to miss.
Ed Davis will make his first start of the season in Boozer's place.
Davis has played well for the Lakers in limited time, averaging 8.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 22.2 minutes.
The Lakers take a 3-10 record into the contest.
