Tobias Harris will not play Saturday vs. Heat

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports / reuters

The Orlando Magic will be without starting small forward Tobias Harris on Saturday when they take on the Miami Heat, Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn tells John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com.

Harris is dealing with a strained calf muscle and will miss his first game of the season.

Harris is averaging 18.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while connecting on 46.9 percent of his field-goal attempts this year. He has also logged the most minutes played in the league this season, meaning his absence will be significant for the Magic.

In Harris's stead, the Magic could turn to backup wing Maurice Harkless, or slide Evan Fournier up a position and play with a three-guard lineup of Fournier, Victor Oladipo and Elfrid Payton.
