Donald Sterling has withdrawn a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court in which he sought damages for fraud from his estranged wife Shelly, the NBA, and Commissioner Adam Silver, reports Nathan Fenno of the Los Angeles Times.

The accusations related to the $2 billion sale of the formerly Sterling-owned Los Angeles Clippers to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer in August. The sale was completed without any input from Sterling, who tried and failed to file an injunction to block it.

Sterling’s federal anti-trust lawsuit against the NBA is, however, ongoing.

Wrote Bobby Samini, one of Sterling’s attorneys, in an email to Fenno on Monday: "We believe that we can more efficiently address all the issues in our pending federal action."

A scheduling hearing in Sterling’s federal lawsuit and the NBA’s counterclaim against him is reportedly set for Nov. 6 in U.S District Court in Los Angeles.
