Tuesday was a day for Dallas Mavericks fans to get excited for the 2014-15 season, with the team introducing several new acquisitions at a press conference.

If that wasn't enough, fans were also given a reason to look ahead to 2015-16, with the team unveiling a pair of alternate jerseys for that season. Potential jersey designs had been crowdsourced from fans, with the winning look (from Geoff Case) containing the Dallas skyline above the city name on the front.

"We wanted to do something different for a future jersey,” owner Mark Cuban said. “We became the first team to ever crowdsource a real, in-game jersey.

“The creativity of Mavs fans is amazing. We want to thank everyone who submitted a design and we look forward to seeing the skyline adorned across Mavs jerseys in 2015-16."

It's probably not the best jersey in the entire league, but it's unique to the city and the Mavericks have a very design-friendly color scheme. We'll give it a solid "B."
