Bucks' Ilyasova says he's '100 percent healthy'

After battling with injuries for much of last season, Milwaukee Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova is finally "100 percent healthy."

"This summer is the first time for a long time I didn't play for the national team," Ilyasova, a native of Turkey, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I want to be part of the national team, but it is what it is. I have to first fix myself as well as be healthy."

"This summer I spent a lot of time fixing my ankle. Hopefully this season I start on a new page, with a lot of energy and power."

Ilyasova was held to just 55 games played last season. He battled a severe right ankle sprain which notably hampered his shooting percentages. Last season, Ilyasova connected on an abysmal 28.2 percent of his triples after sinking 44.8 percent of his tries over the two years prior.

Without the ability to stretch defenses with his jumper, Ilyasova is a liability. However, if a return to health springs a rebound to his career norms in shooting percentage, Ilyasova could help the Bucks improve from their league-worst record from last season.
