Two days after signing a non-guaranteed contract with the Brooklyn Nets, Hamady N'Diaye has seen the agreement voided by the club following a failed physical.

The Nets found an elbow injury that will take two-to-four weeks to heal, according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, who also reported that N'Diaye would have missed training camp, when the Nets were hoping he'd compete for the roster's third center spot.

Brooklyn's roster now stands at 16 players.

N'Diaye, who represented Senegal at this month's FIBA World Cup, has appeared in 33 games over three NBA seasons with the Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings since being selected late in the second round (56th overall) by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2010 draft.

The 7-foot Rutgers product has also spent various stints in the D-League and in China. N'Diaye is expected to once again sign with a Chinese team following his failed attempt to land with the Nets, according to RealGM

While the 27-year-old is limited offensively, N'Diaye can be a presence on the boards and around the rim defensively.
