The case against former No. 1 overall pick Greg Oden, who is facing one count of felony domestic violence and two misdemeanor battery charges, has been granted a delay by a judge in Indiana.

Oden's trial was originally scheduled for Oct. 22, but his appearance has been pushed back to Nov. 19.

The charges against Oden stem from an incident that took place on Aug. 7, when Oden is alleged to have struck a woman across the face, leaving her with bruises and cuts on her face. She was treated at a hospital later that night for a fractured nose, a swollen eye and lacerations on her forehead. She alleges that Oden struck her at least three times in the face.

Oden, who plead not guilty, told police on the night of the incident that he "punched her in the face."
