The Orlando Magic are in the midst of a tight race down the stretch. That race? The race to the bottom in hopes of securing the most favorable lottery odds.

Coming into Sunday's contest against the Nets, the Magic were tied in the loss column with the Utah Jazz at 56. Desperate to preserve their lead, of sorts, the Magic took matters -- or rather, the ball -- into their own hands. Then, they promptly put said ball into their own basket.

Thanks in part to their efforts, the Orlando lost to Brooklyn 97-88. Breathe easy, Magic fans.
