Pacers' Paul George: Blowout loss to Spurs no fluke, but 'we’re better than that'
Pat Lovell / USA Today
Paul George was not happy with the effort of the Indiana Pacers in a 103-77 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.
George scored a team-high 16 points and added six assists and five rebounds, but it was not enough to prevent Indiana from dropping its third consecutive contest. He expressed his discontent after the game:
The Pacers entered March with a 44-13 record but lost 10 games over the course of the month, including six of their last eight contests. The recent run of poor play has erased Indiana's lead atop the Eastern Conference, tying them with the Miami Heat for first place.
