Cavaliers rookie Anthony Bennett records first career double-double

To say Anthony Bennett has been a disappointment in his rookie season would be a massive understatement, but the Cleveland Cavaliers power forward and 2013 first-overall pick recorded a double-double in his best NBA game yet on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings.

Bennett finished with a career-high 19 points on 6-for-9 shooting and was 3-for-3 from 3-point range. He added a career-high 10 rebounds.

Bennett has reached double digits in scoring in four of his last eight games after failing to do so over his first 32.

Teammate Tristan Thompson also finished with a double-double, recording 16 points and grabbing a team-high 13 boards. The Cavaliers defeated the Kings 109-99.
