Lakers' Meeks sprains right ankle, will not return

The Los Angeles Lakers got three point guards back on Tuesday night, so naturally they lost a shooting guard to make up for it.

Jodie Meeks had to be helped off the floor in the first quarter against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the team quickly announced he has a sprained right ankle and will not return to the game.

The breaks for these Lakers this year, man.

Before leaving, Meeks had missed a pair of threes in one minute of action. He's averaging 14.7 points on the season, shooting 40.6 percent from long range.
