Five NBA players highlight D-League All-Star rosters

The NBA's D-League revealed their 2013-14 All-Star Game rosters on Monday, a list of 20 players highlighted by current and former NBA talent.

Five players currently under contract in the NBA will be featured, including a pair of Houston Rockets in Isaiah Canaan and Robert Covington. Los Angeles Lakers guard Manny Harris, Utah Jazz forward Malcolm Thomas, and Boston Celtics guard Chris Johnson will also be showcased.

It seems unlikely a team would block an assignee from playing in the game, even if they are recalled before the event.

Former NBA players include Seth Curry, Hilton Armstrong, Dewayne Dedmon, Ike Diogu, and Devin Ebanks, among others. Sixteen of the 20 All-Stars in all have NBA experience.

The D-League All-Star game will take place on Feb. 15, the Saturday of the NBA's All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, and will air live on NBA TV at 3 p.m. ET.
