NBA All-Star reserves announced, full rosters revealed

The NBA revealed the reserves for the 2014 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans on Thursday night.

Reserves are selected by coaches in each conference. Coaches are unable to vote for their own players and must select two guards, three frontcourt players and two wild cards, though they are not subject to position classifications on the fan ballot (that is, they can put players wherever they feel).

Here are the reserves, order by position and then alphabetically:

Western Conference
G - James Harden
G - Damian Lillard
G - Tony Parker
G - Chris Paul
FC - LaMarcus Aldridge
FC - Dwight Howard
FC - Dirk Nowitzki

Eastern Conference
G - Chris Bosh
G - DeMar DeRozan
G - Joe Johnson
G - John Wall
FC - Roy Hibbert
FC - Paul Millsap
FC - Joakim Noah

Here are the full rosters for each conference, with the starters - as announced last Thursday - listed first:

Western Conference
G - Steph Curry
G - Kobe Bryant
FC - Kevin Durant
FC - Blake Griffin
FC - Kevin Love
Reserves - LaMarcus Aldridge, James Harden, Dwight Howard, Damian Lillard, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Chris Paul

Eastern Conference
G - Dwyane Wade
G - Kyrie Irving
FC - LeBron James
FC - Paul George
FC - Carmelo Anthony
Reserves - Chris Bosh, DeMar DeRozan, Roy Hibbert, Joe Johnson, Paul Millsap, Joakim Noah, John Wall

As a reminder, any player injured for the game (as Bryant is expected to be) will have their spot on the team filled by a player of the league's choosing. If the injured player is a starter, it will then be up to each coach (Scott Brooks in the West, Frank Vogel in the East) which reserve starts.

You'd have to think with the game in New Orleans, Anthony Davis would be first on tape as a replacement in the West. Kyle Lowry would be the right call if the East needs a replacement.

The NBA All-Star Game takes place on Feb. 16, with weekend festivities starting on Feb. 14.
